When we first got married, my wife and I decided that we would like to do more to celebrate Holy Days of Obligation than just go to mass. Some feasts like Christmas or Epiphany have established traditions, so it makes…
The Advent season is upon us once again! This is the beginning of liturgical year of the Catholic Church, the time to prepare for the coming of the Christ Child. A journey that will bring us great joy, but also…
One of my greatest joys as a parent is sharing my favorite books with my daughter. Especially when she loves them too. While someday I hope The Brothers Karamazov will be counted among those books, right now I am just happy with picture books….
Tomorrow, on the first day of February, we are slated to have the next snowpocalypse. While, if the weather man’s track record is taken into account, it is very likely that there will be little snow accumulation, I wanted to make sure I got a good bike ride in today.
