Egg-tastic Gardening

I am always looking for projects to do with my daughter. We still have seeds that we bought for her garden, so instead of waiting for another month to plant them outside we decided to start them inside. I am sure you can find this project all over the internet, but this is my version.

Since we had an empty egg carton I decided to use that.

I cut the top off, poked some holes in the bottom of each cup.

 

 

I flipped the top over used it for a drip pan.

A little dirt, a few seeds and a lot laughs later we started our plants. I hope they start to grow because if this goes anything like the last set of seeds we started she will be checking on them at least twice a day. This was a perfect project for a toddlers attention span.
